At this lively event, scientists share their work via short, engaging, often unconventional presentations, with a winner decided by the audience. The Science Slam is part of the No Coast SciComm conference (more info at go.unl.edu/scicomm).


    WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? Students of all levels, faculty, and researchers in the natural or social sciences, mathematics, and engineering are all encouraged to apply!


    HOW DOES IT WORK? Selected finalists will present 5-minute virtual talks at the Slam, which will be livestreamed on YouTube at 7:00pm CDT on Thursday, September 17. The audience will vote online to decide which Slammer takes home the $500 prize!
