Hello! My full name is Lauren Alysa Linville and I am from the great state of Texas! I was raised in a calm town named Mansfield. the town I grew up in was rugged and country but also full of suburbian areas. I enjoyed my childhood, learning hands-on experiences. When I graduated from Mansfield High School, I made the bold decision to move out of state for college. I attended the University of Arkansas under the elementary education major.

What adventures do I embark on in my free time?

I love to go on outdoor adventures and to travel to many different places. In my free time, I enjoy going on a nice hike to experience gorgeous views across landscapes. I enjoy paddle-boarding in the river on a nice calm day. On more calm note, I love to paint and create art projects. Lastly, one of my favorite things to do is to help out in my community.

My Journey on "why" I am a teacher

Since the very beginning at the ripe age of five years old, I have wanted to become a teaching. My passion for teaching grew when I led bible studies and tutoring sessions. I never lost my love for teaching but originally going into college I wanted to go into sports medicine. My mind changed when I worked as a summer camp counselor. Going into my sophomore year, I immediately changed my major to elementary education. Overall, working with children over the summer reminded me how much I love to be around kids and that I want to help them grow in all aspects of their life.
