Hello Segis,
Good news that you decided to buy a new computer at last, i would love to help you decide.
The first thing you have to know is the budget that you want to spend, because Apple computers are really expensive.
If the money is not a problem, then you have to know the purpose, because if its to play games, you cant go for an Apple pc, as most games are not programmed for IOs, but if its for working purposes you should go for an Apple computer definitively.
As a resume, and knowing i don't like Apple, watching your purposes i would go for the Apple computer

To: Miguel García

From: Héctor Tornos

Subject: Mac vs Windows

Dear Miguel,

It been a while since the last time I hear from you, It’s very nice. I’ve been thinking about your question related with a computer purchase, and I think I have some very useful tips to help you decide between Mac or Windows operative system.

First of all, a Mac computer is usually more expensive than Windows computers, and you also have a lot of different options when buying one of this, because there are a lot of brands producing hardware that actually work with the Microsoft system. So, you can find Mac computers from 900€ whereas Windows computers start in 300€.

That lack of variety could be an advantage, thought, because the reason is the company policy. Apple design his operative system to be used in an specific hardware what guarantees an awesome performance that would otherwise be impossible to achieve.

By the way, according to your first email, I think you don’t need such a powerful device and there are a few other features you should take on account, like software compatibility. Almost every well-known software has a windows version, and there are a huge number of freeware available too.

Under my point your best option is buying a windows computer, It’s cheaper than a mac one, and with the money you save, you can go to dinner with your wife.

Hoping I’ve been helpful

Héctor.

Dear friend,
I hope you are well.
Buying a new computer can be a bit of a hassle, seeing as you
have so many options available so I hope I can help you decide.
I would not recommend buying a mac under any circumstance. They are overpriced and
if you plan on using your computer to play sometimes, they will perform badly.
Now, with windows you have two options. You can either buy a prebuilt or buy the parts individually and build it yourself.
A prebuilt has the advantage that it is already put together and you will receive it in a short time. However, I recommend buying the parts one by one and build it yourself or having the shop build it for you.
This option is much more cost efficient and you will get a lot more bang for your buck than if you bought it prebuilt. Granted, the shop will charge for putting it together, but even then it is the best option.
I hope to hear from you soon so with your choice so I can be more concrete with you.
Take care,
Guillermo

Hi mate!
So you're thinking about buying a new computer?

And of course you're asking me, again... I rememer the last year you ask me the same question. What happened with the last one?
I'm joking, don't worry pal! So let me think, this time we're going to focus on the resistant as primary quality.

With that in mind I will NOT buy an Apple product. Sure, they're stylish and fancy, but they're made of glass... Also the Apple products are expensive as hell.

If I were you, I probably would bough a PC. They're more adaptable and you can build a real good computer with much less money, also they're more robust than the fragile mac's.

I would like to talk more with you my friend, but I'm out of words. Just don't buy a Mac.

See you!
