The Maya were a very organized people, they developed in the northern and central lowlands where they reached their height between 500 and 1200 B.C.E. Their Class Structure looked very detailed but very organized. First there was a ruler which was the one over all people. Next were nobles and priest they were the next in line of authority they were very respected. Then came merchants and artisans, they were respected because they sold goods and needs to the Mayan people. The last two were peasants then slaves. Peasants were not respected but had little authority of slaves. Slaves had the worst jobs, they worked in fields until night and started back early mornings. In Mayan religious beliefs they were a polytheistic culture, which means they believed in more than one god. Actually they believed in 160 gods. In offerings they gave plants, food, flowers, feathers, jade, and shells. All these came from agriculture. Some agricultural techniques the maya used were slash and burn method and raised-earth techniques for lowlands.

The class structure of Tenochtitlan was ruler which was the semi-divine. Government officials, priest, and military generals. Commoners, they weren't rich nor poor they were in the middle just living. Then peasants and slaves had the hardest lives out of all of them, they worked then slept then worked. Family life was simple but was a process. As a man you got married around age 20 and as a women you got married around 16. A father was the master of the house every time, and the mother cooked meals, did gardening, raised livestock, and raised and took care of the kids. For food and goods people of Tenochtitlan went to a place called Tlatelolco for food and goods. People also grew home goods and ate imported foods. In Tenochtitlan they stressed the meaning that without religion you couldn't live. They believed there was a warrior who fought darkness to keep strong. For sacrifice there was a blood sacrifice where a human was sacrificed.

You were only a Inca by blood and they communicated through runners which are people who related messages. The Inca class structure was very simple, first was emperor, then nobles, then commoners. The emperor was usually a ancestor of the Sun God. Inca family life revolved around the aless clan. They believed only young people and old people should work. Boys took care of animals while girls took care of babies. Since there was no currency the way it can happen was through labor. The way population grew was they captured tribes and made them Incas. Lastly Inca was one of the largest empires in pre-columbian america.
