Father of 4 Johnny Carroll from Doon was involved in the crash which involved a truck, a van and a car. Johnny was making a U-turn on the main road outside the old restaurant The Captain's Table. He was making the U-turn because he was going to Knocknagoshel and thought he had passed the turn off. Hurricane Irma is set to hit Florida in the coming hours.  Irma, a category five hurricane, the highest possible level, is passing north of Puerto Rico, With Florida also in her path. The small island of Barbuda is said to be "barely habitable". State Officers warn that St Martin is almost destroyed, and the death toll is likely to rise. 
There is already 9 people dead.

Jack Sheahan is playing at half time in Thomand Park tomorrow. He is playing because his rugby coach picked him for the team. 

Jack Harnett accidentally broke Paddy's tooth during a hurling tackle last night. Jack hit Paddy's hurling against the tooth.
