1) Last week, we started a job that we never finished because of the crazy re-do of the Math test. We were looking at three different texts and answering the prompt:
You have read three articles that describe how math is used in real life. Using information presented in the articles, describe three ways that math in used in real life.

padlet.com/pwelbourn/RealWorldMath

There you will find three articles on the topic of how math is used in everyday life. As a class, we read through the first article and completed a column in the graphic organizer that focuses on answering the prompt.

Now, YOU read the other two articles and do the same thing for columns two and three. I've attached the graphic organizer, incase you forgot what it was like.

Next, come up with a good thesis statement and using notebook paper, write the introduction. Look back in your notes to make sure you include everything you are supposed to include in your introduction.

If you finish, go ahead and write your first body paragraph. Still have more time? Keep writing!! Use your notes!
