Then throughout the playoffs we were on our a game. Then we made it to the finals. Then 30 minutes into the game we were losing 3-1 and at halftime my whole team were all about to give up. Me and one of my friends started to give those halftime motivation talks. I forgot how it went but it was something along the lines of " We cant give up now all the work we put in just to get here and give up now I don't know about y'all but I wanna post a snapchat  story of us holding a trophy and play we are the champions in the background''. We went out there and tied the game and won in penalties.

At that point I had to get my grade up. so then I had to stay after school and stuff so my teacher could explain to me what i had to make up. He offered to help and that was an offer i could not refuse so the next couple of weeks I had to stay after school with him'' then a week later i told him if i could see my grade and he showed me it i had brought it up to a B so i was relieved. Then for the next couple of weeks i did no work at all cause i thought i was good. Then a couple of days before my teacher told me to stay after class with him. So i did and he told me i had a D and had to do even more work and i did. SO i had to do the same process all over again. Then when report cards came out i had brought it up to a B+ so i was even more than relieved and stayed on the soccer team.

This example relates to my theme because it shows even though i brought my grade up and put my grade down and i felt like giving up i put all my things aside and came out on top.]]> 2021-09-12 22:51:49 UTC https://padlet.com/jgonzalez2141/4ml88djo9pt7yeiw/wish/1734276674 jgonzalez2141 https://padlet.com/jgonzalez2141/4ml88djo9pt7yeiw/wish/1734287933 When i was 12 i got into boxing and my uncle since he runs the gym thought it was fun if all the kids would fight each other like a little tournament and i made it to the quarter final fight and we were doing 3 rounds and i got my butt handed to me the first round and during our little break my uncle told me "hey its okay if you lose but if you do your gonna regret not fighting harder but if you win your gonna feel on top of the world so go out there and show me you wanna feel on top of the world'' then i went on to win those next 2 rounds to win me the fight. I didn't end up winning it all but that fight made me feel on top of the world.
