We have adopted the participation in Erasmus+ projects as a school and we participate willingly. Our school is based on Science and Social. It is also Imam Hatip High School. We are located in Etimesgut district of Ankara province. Our school has 360 students. Most of our students expect guidance from their teachers. If there is an activity they love, they work hard. Erasmus projects are one of the most important of these. When they have goals, they work willingly to achieve results. We announced this project to our students and teachers and started to build our teams. We also create project groups and start working with them in English (65 students requested). We will often watch practical English youtube videos that we have chosen while studying English. Our project teams started statistical and historical research on immigrants. We also aim to hold an introductory meeting with our project partners and students via Etwinning or zoom as soon as possible (15 December 2022 at 18.00 pm Poland Hours so Turkey 20.00 pm).
With this project, our students will make friends from European Union Countries. They will have the opportunity to introduce themselves. They will interact culturally. Their worldview will expand and they will begin to think differently. They will be open to development. Values will evolve. They will be able to communicate effectively.
Everything will be fine !!!

Our Alytaus Putinų gymnasium team is participating in a project called "Trench candles". We made 300 trench candles that will be donated to people in Ukraine, to keep them warm.

An international eTwinning project dedicated to the integration of refugees was presented on the website of the evening high school. Ukrainian Viktorija and her friends: Jana, Ivan and Taras are attending the event. From now on, these students will also become project participants.

Traditionally, in commemoration of the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust, an integrated lesson of biology, chemistry and the eTwinning project was held for students of class IIb KTU in the Putin Gymnasium, during which the students discussed symbols. They watched and discussed films about the Holocaust and the war in Ukraine. Divided into teams, they performed various activities during which they found out the meaning of the symbols, tried to find them, recognize them and depict them.

In the international meeting of the partners of the eTwinning project "Refugees", the students Laura, Paulina and Natas, class IIB KTU, are conducting activities that have been implemented during the last two months. We invited Ukrainian students and their friends, using a virtual map, our ten places in Alytus, most liked by young people living here. We taught them to work with Canva and Jigsaw Planet online tools and asked them to create posters about what they did, saw, tasted for the first time in Lithuania. They did great. Today, on 4th of March 2024 we've met to close our refugees project. Each country presented the work. We are very happy to announce that we are going to start a new project very soon!

The final stage and discussion of activities took place at the Alytus SREAM Center while baking Lithuanian bread. We tasted it and discussed how this project was beneficial for Ukrainian students, their families, and how it was beneficial for our team.

At the final meeting, we presented our key activities in this project. We listened to our partners' presentations. The project was a wonderful integrated experience, so we decided to form a new team and participate together in an ecological project.
