Some students can find the jump from college to university challenging and this could be an indicator of a learning difference.

It can take up to 3 weeks to hear back from Student Finance. If your application has been successful you will be asked to have a needs assessment which is a meeting with a needs assesor where you will discuss your Educational Psychologist report and the recomendations made it that as well as having the opportunity to try of some assistive technology and equipment.

You will have to book this appointment yourself through the DSA Quality assurance webpage. Search for an assessment centre using your postcode.

The DSA2 letter will explain how to contact your support provider and/or the supplier of your assisitve technology. You can always book an appointment with a disability adviser if you are unsure.
