For starters, teachers have strategies to help everyone. Teachers adapt there curriculum and let everyone learn at there own pace. I have seen so many teachers adapt in some incredible ways making sure everyone is feeling confident in there work. For example in kindergarten one student in kindergarten had trouble speaking English so a staff member worked specially with her until she could speak fluently. Another example is in second grade one peer had trouble performing tasks like cutting paper. The homeroom teacher at the time helped him and encouraged all the other students to do so as well. The tables are to small to have everyone getting their lunch so their is a lot of pushing and shoving. Also I always get hot lunch and I sometimes never get fruit because people without hot lunch get two or three and people with it get two to four. Another thing that needs improvement is the girls bathrooms. The bathrooms near the fifth and fourth grade classrooms have multiple problems. Two out of four doors don’t close and one has a lock that doesn’t work and the door is to big so you need to yank it open and shove it closed. Also the boys fifth and forth restrooms you can see one of the urinals and whomever is peeing in it from the doorway. This is a problem for girls who don’t want to watch boys do their business and boys who want privacy. Another area of improvement is the hand washing stations. The water is freezing and my friends and I fear the same water gets used again and again because it is hard to get any dirt of your hands and we have found leaves a dead bugs in the water. Another problem is the feeling fell in on the classroom. This is problematic because the. BCS needs to change there lunch program. Me and many of my friends and peers have had many unappetizing lunches from mygreenlunch. I personally love some of the old programs they used to have. Another problem about BCS are there bathrooms. Although it is mostly the kids fault, I find that the boys bathroom has a urinal in front of the door which me and my friends hate to have to walk past. My last problem with BCS is that some materials need to be updated. Earlier today my classrooms roof lost a piece of dangerous fiber glass. A couple of maintenance checks would make me feel very much so safe in the classroom that the selling won’t fall on me. Once I ordered a chicken pot pie and I got a full on yellow soup with vegetables floating around. Also the bathroom should be cleaner.
