I have a dog, Scottie. He is the new addition to my house. He is a Schnauzer/Scottish Terrier.
I have a cat named Izzy. She is a sweet little lady who brings many hours of entertainment and joy.

I adopted him in April and we have had a great time since he arrived. I adopted him from the Oklahoma Westie Rescue. He is now around 2 years old. He is a Schnauzer-Scottish Terrier Mix. He is about 15 lbs and is very active. We play ball everyday and he loves to be outside. I'm sure that there will be more stories about him now that he has figured out how to ride in the car without getting sick. It was a great time for both of us. We travelled through Texas, Colordo, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Utah and Kansas. It was my very first time to be in the Pacific Northwest. It is SO beautiful! We had quite the adventure. We both were able to connect with old friends. Ms. Turner met her friends in Spokane Washington and I was able to see a college friend who lived in Eugene Oregon. We brought home rocks that I will paint and return on hikes with my family. Trees are so perfect in life. They grow strong, they can bend and they are very helpful with all the different products that can be created. Paper and lumber are the most popular products that can be made from trees.
Trees help clean our air. Trees can absorb as much as 48 pounds of carbon dioxide. Trees also help lower energy bills and provide shade. Trees can live up to thousands of years. They need water and sunlight, just like humans. The largest trees are the Giant Sequoia and some believe they are longest living organism on Earth.
Trees and painting are two very important pieces of my life. I have painted several pictures with trees in different areas of the world My next piece will be focused on the trees in the Pacific Northwest.

Fried Okra, Green Beans, Carrots, and BACON!!! Ice Cream is my favorite anytime snack...Sugar Free of course!
PLACES - I love my home in Arkansas with so many trails and the lake. The Pacific Northwest was absolutely beautiful! The Ozarks and the Appalachian mountains make my heart happy.
MUSIC - I have a wide selection of favorite songs. Many of them take me back to fun times as I grew up.
