It is mainly caused by human intervention, causing an increase in the amount of greenhouse gases there is in the environment.Deforestation destroys trees,which photosynthesise,turning carbon dioxide(one of the greenhouse gases) into oxygen.Another reason is from industrial buildings like factories which produces smoke which consists of more carbon dioxide.

Greenhouse gases traps heat from the sun,which balanced the overall temperature of the earth, making it the ideal temperature for life to exist, but now, there are too many greenhouse gases trapping the heat of the sun in the earth’s atmosphere.Global Warming has cause polar ice caps to melt, glaciers melting into the sea, which endangers the lives of the animals which live in icy environments like polar bears, penguins and other organisms.
