We want to make trash boats because we want to help our community by picking up all of the trash that we find on campus. We want to make boats because it will be a fun way to help our community. 

2.    How will this help people in the community?
~Picking up trash on campus helps the school environment look nicer. 

~Picking up trash will also help to prevent global warming.

~Picking up trash will help us make sure our tortoises only eat healthy food.

Due to Covid-19, our March and April visits were cancelled, as was the student expo on all of our Service Learning Projects this year at ISO. If the project were to continue next year, the next steps would be planning the visits that we were unable to carry out this year. That a majority of our ISO participants are from grades 9 and 10 provides them with an easy opportunity to carry on with Project Unclinkable, and we expect to pass the torch to a third group September 2020.

Once we started, we didn’t know what to do,

Ideas swimming around the room.

Finally, we settled on the suggestion of “Safety”, 

We recognized the importance of it very greatly.

During that time, I learned lots about myself, 

I like Mock Trials, and quiet places to think, as well. 

In the future, I’d work a lot more efficiently, 

It’s the only thing that I’d do differently. 

The sad part, is that we had to leave, 

There were so many things we had yet to achieve. 

I’ll miss what we finished - and what we started too, 

All of the things that we’ve gotten through.

I thank the teachers, Mrs. Sanfo and Mrs. Sambou,  

We couldn’t have done it without you two!

There was lots of planning, and little frustration - 

Because we had a clear destination.

 -       Importance of a balanced diet for turtles 

-       Preventing fruit remains from becoming “waste”

-       Working on a project as part of a community

-       Service to others; caring about others

Using these feedback, we established new goals for the second version of the app: add gamification, resources, and make the app design appealing.  The creation of an app is a continuous process, M’Gomda’s action phase never stops.  Resources are permanently added to the app, allowing users to enjoy even more the learning experience.

Design team: M’Gomda has a new design!  We congratulate our design team, who worked so hard to make the app as beautiful as it can be.

Technology: The technology team did an amazing job to code the internal database and structure of the app. They are still working to implement other functions of the app.
