They are normally used for flashlights, smoke detectors and other things like that.

Later in 1835 an American inventor and blacksmith called Thomas Davenport got credited with building the first practical e vehicle: a small RC train

After that in 1859 a French Physicist called Gaston Planté he lived from 1834-1889 anyways he made the first rechargeable lead-acid storage battery he presented it at the Academy of Sciences and surprisingly it gave out a lot of power. In 1881 a French chemical engineer called Camille Alphonse Faure improved the lead-acid battery
