Coming back to SWC and taking this "random class" was the best thing I could have done. I've taken many online classes and most professors don't care about you. Paiano makes online classes fun and makes lectures easy to understand and if you have trouble with anything you can always contact him and he's realistic about situations. Treats you like any other student on campus despite you only see him on videos.

What I didn't like?
- There's really nothing negative about this class. Only thing I probably didn't enjoy much was doing the research on some assignments & having to contact agents but mainly bc I'm lazy like that, haha. Class is great!

I've never given up & ill never give up!]]> 2018-12-07 22:41:56 UTC https://padlet.com/fpaiano/4lvw8stuuo6o/wish/312439077 fpaiano https://padlet.com/fpaiano/4lvw8stuuo6o/wish/925542026 (Spring 2019) I absolutely loved this class.  I love learning things that I can actually apply to my life and this has been one of those types of classes.  The concepts we learned are practical and are very helpful in planning our financial futures.  I only wish I had taken this class in my early 20s, but 20 years later (I am in my early 40s) I think that this knowledge will help me tremendously in preparing for retirement.  I also appreciate that the Powerpoint presentations are actually lectures.  A lot of online classes do not have that feature. 

I walk away with knowing that you don't need thousands of dollars to invest; every little bit counts.  This was a myth that I debunked thanks to this class.  Also, knowing to not get scared when the market doesn't do well and to see those times as moments of opportunity. I appreciate now being able to understand my retirement plan at work and the different funds I can invest in.  

I took BUS 123 last semester and I think that taking BUS 121 this semester was the best decision as both classes complement each other. These classes should be mandatory!
