For over a year black people in Montgomery refused to ride the busses. They created black taxi services for people who needed the transportation. dec,5 1955 and lasted 381 days until supreme court ruled it unconstitutional and busses were desegregated. The bus services couldn’t live without the black people riding them because most of the riders were black.
