1.The style of Warfare that Winston Churchill was referring to was known as "Blitzkrieg" or Lightning Warfare. This style of warfare was created by the Germans and was a big leap in Warfare strategies at the time. It consisted of a vicious combination of heavily planes that would bomb the are targeted, destroying defence before monstrous tanks trundled into view and obliterated everything that was left. This type of warfare was extremely successful.

2. If I was living at the time of this war and had heard this speech, it would heighten my morale and make me feel a little bit safer.

1. The type of warfare that Winston Churchill was talking about is blitzkrieg warfare also known as lightning warfare. This warfare was used by hitler to attack Poland and it works by sending in planes first then tanks and finally infantry. This warfare was very effective against the ill prepared polish army.
