It’s Kathy. You were such a great teacher! I’ll never forget when we played Simon Says, but with math. You were teaching us how to rotate triangles on a grid. For example, when Simon said to rotate 180° counter clockwise, we had to make sure we rotated and faced the correct way. I loved doing that. I’m glad you pushed us academically because it also pushed me in high school too. You always made our class feel like a family. I will also never forget when you and Mr. Hammack would come down to the cafeteria in the mornings and bring your speakers along and wildly dance together. You created some of the best experiences at Bronx Park. Also, even though I was not technically a member of the basketball team but just a manager, I made so many memories with our trips to the gym and the Mean Girls Broadway show. You even gave me one of the jerseys. Also, it looks like you’re getting closer to having a cool beard like Mr. Sq’s! Thank you for all the positive energy you always had. I know you’ll make other positive impacts wherever you go! Wait, did you become a doctor or something? I just remembered you mentioned finishing school for something like that. o.o! We started at BXPK together. You were just a baby out of college and I was the seasoned vet, and yet we both were fish out of water. We learned everything together, and we made the best team. When I left BXPK I knew the kids were in the best hands because you were there. I’m so excited for your next adventure but I know how much you will be missed.
