Hey Peter, 

sorry that I took so long to respond, I was busy with school, you know how it is... Anyways, I wanted to come back to what you said in your last message. You said that all multicultural societies are basically the same. Although I can see where you are coming from, I disagree. See it this way, multicultural societies are build upon a basis set by the „original“ culture. Just because other cultures bring a piece of theirs into the UK for example, it doesn‘t make the British people less characteristically British. Would you honestly claim that the British are the same as the Americans? I doubt it. Both are very much multicultural, yet you can somewhat easily distinguish between something one might classify as „British“ from what some others might classify as „American“. These new cultures simply enhance and widen the originals culture‘s horizon, potentially even helping it become a greater version of itself, yet still very much recognizable as what it began. Sorry if I started rambling a bit too much, we also have that topic in my English class right now, so I guess I go carried away. Either way, hope to hear from you soon!

But why the UK? First of all, the British educational system is globally recognized. Employers in general love seeing their applyees studying abroad, as it is seen as going the extra mile. On top of that, degrees from the UK are often being held in high regard by quite many employers.

It is most definitely much easier to study in the UK for most than it would be in other many other foreign countries. After all, everyone has had English classes before, right? Not only does that allow for the adjusting to be much easier and smoother, but it also helps strengthen your English skills. Something very valuable in the globalized world we live it.

But hey, that’s‘s not all! The UK houses some of the most prestigious and well known universities world wide! We all have heard of the world renowned universities of Oxford and Cambridge. Not only is the education excellent at these universities, their architecture  are also a sight to behold.

I could go on and on about how great studying abroad in the UK could/would be, but words can only do so much.
