One of the suggestions to improve student wellbeing is the practice of meditation and deep relaxation. Different types of meditation are addressed on the page and breathing techniques are also looked into. This is likely to be acceptable to students as it is free and easy to do/learn and there are plenty of resources. Meditation is predominantly related to eudiamonic well-being as it focuses on body/surrounding awareness, I also feel that it is primarily cognitive and emotional.

Eating a balanced variety of foods is extremely important, as it can affect mood, health and energy levels which all impact our well being. This can be acceptable to students if they are willing to plan budgets, shop around and avoid processed foods. This is related to hedonic well being as healthy eating effects mood positively. In turn, this impacts affective dimensions, due to people changing their eating behaviour.

Connect Feeling close to and valued by others is key to our happiness. Studies have shown that happier people have stronger relationships with others (and stronger relationships lead to increased happiness).Finding the time to nurture your friendships and family bonds, even when apart, can help you feel better and live better.
