For an example, dirt roads had many mud holes when it rained, the cities had no sewers and all the trash would pile the streets and make many people sick.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Lowell girls lived in boarding houses and shared rooms with other girls. These girls worked 12 hours a day for 6 weeks. They worked for few years and will return home to marry. The money these girls made would be sent to there familes. There only days off were Sunday and they would go to church if they had free time after they would visit theaters, circuses.</div>]]></description>
