Childhood trauma is the root of many issues in adulthood, many negative emotions and coping skills develop when the inner child goes unhealed. Without the proper treatment the cycle continues and those children who grew up in a trauma state often seek that same trauma throughout adult relationships, sometimes this is an attempt to heal the inner child by trying to create an environment where, as an adult, they can attempt to be that perfect person for their abuser. In reality this just creates more abuse. Trauma can only be healed from within. Children who grow up in abusive households, or are around abusive people outside of the home, or are even growing up in a city where the abuse is seen by people of power, are very likely to continue that cycle of abuse as they grow. The effects of trauma on a developing brain are never-ending.

How could man be capable of something so horrific? The creation of a war that lead to the deaths of over 15,000,000 soldiers and 45,000,000 civilians. The world just saw a war that changed the whole world forever and now they had to face a World War all over again. World War 1 proved to be the catalyst of World War 2. After World War 1 there was a treaty, this treaty was the treaty of Versailles. It blamed Germany for causing World War 1 and it penalized Germany severely for what they did. This led to the decimation of Germany’s economy after World War 1. Adolf Hitler eventually rose to power, which proved to be terrible for not only Germany, but also for the rest of the world. Hitler was fixated on invading Poland, and when he did it was the start of the bloodiest conflict in mankind’s history. World War 2 was horrendous, marked with genocide, death, and destruction.

Why are Americans facing so many social problems today? Today's social problems may range from health care, job lost, no insurance, drug and alcohol addiction, debt, from an education in college, credit cards, or poor money management, sexism, inequality and systemic racism. Social problems are usually referring to as social conditions that disrupts or damage society like crime, racism, and such. It focuses on how and why people come to an understanding that, some conditions ought to be viewed as a social problem according to the Oxford Bibliographies. Social problems may have negative consequences for a large number of people and usually is addressed as a condition that not only needs to be made aware of, but needs to be rectified in today's society, especially the systemic racism in the black and brown communities.

"Voting is a civic duty and privilege in democratic states, especially in the United States. In the United States, divisiveness is present between the country’s people on the subject of partisan parties as the presidential election is a large topic every four years, especially this year. There is an ongoing discussion about whether or not the minimum federal voting age should be lowered. The current requirement is that a person must be 18 years old to vote. Some people are comfortable with that, while others are fighting for a minimum age as low as 16 years old. There are good arguments for both sides, but when you look at the majority of the facts surrounding the issue, it is clear that allowing 16 and 17-year-olds to vote would be irresponsible. Lowering the voting age would be bad for the country because humans of that age are shown to be irresponsible at that age through scientific research, that 16 and 17-year-olds are easily swayed emotionally and may not form reasonable opinions, and from personal experience as a legal voter."

Mental health strives to be one of the most important things in society that we strive to help make people who are suffering with mental health issues be a part of our society. Today we have a lot of options for people who are struggling with any mental health issues such as therapy and anti-depressants as those solutions seem to be the only 2 solutions that we have to help with mental disorders. But as we move on to today's society, mental health seems to still be one of the most major things that we are all struggling with. Especially for younger teenagers such as myself, I needed to get a lot of help for what I had going on in my mind because of my mental health, and I think if this is such a really big problem within today's society then we should help to advance our options and explore what we can do to give the people needing mental help more options to look for.

In america are African americans really seen as equals. One thing that america is good for is systemic racism, and black people are indeed affected most by it. Is there a solution? well america should start with reparations but how long will that take.African americans are put in a endless cycle of ghetto violence and large policing and this has been happening way before 2020.Peopel say all you have to do is go to school do good and get a job but its harder than that especially when you live in a home with no father due to systemic racsim, the situations african american people are put through is deeper then just going to school because its been going on throughout history and in the system eyes black people are meant to fail.

In the modeling industry, should there be a minimum weight limit? In the past, models have always been thought of fit and beautiful people. This is because certain modeling companies made it a requirement for models to have a "certain look". Luckily today, some companies are making an effort to appeal to every type of person but some companies are excluding certain audiences to maintain their " exclusive" title. They want models to be skinny, well built and gorgeous. It us somewhat understandable that certain companies want to have models that fit their aesthetics to cater to a certain demographic, but this is very damaging in many ways. It damages how a woman or man perceive themselves and it can damage the mental and physical health of the models and the people who want to be able to wear the clothes that are deemed to good for them. The modeling industry should not have a minimum weight requirement.

Many neighborhoods go through a change known as Gentrification. When Gentrifying a society, the area is altered for the better. This is when economic alterations are invested in the neighborhood, making it more appealing to the residents and people. This is evident in the system of real estate. The property value may increase. Also, the demographics may change, as higher income property owners and investors may occupy this area.

Within the United States, we have seen a larger push for systematic justice within the twenty-first century. Throughout the years we have seen appalling systematic injustice with police brutality seen in various states. We can view this topic starting from where this injustice stems from looking back in history, even relating to the initiatives to alleviate this injustice. After viewing the history relating to this, we can start to peel from the surface and view how this is also viewed from a societal viewing point.

For lots of people PAS, or physician assisted suicide is the only thing that can relive them from suffering. PAS usually consists of some sort of lethal injection, which sounds inhumane or scary, but many find it quite compassionate. Especially when you compare it to the pain they are already in. As modern medicine improves, the longer a patient has to suffer. Even though many people are willing to go through the suffering, there are also a lot of people who would not chose to go though the pain. This procedure is not legal in all 50 states, but many advocate for this to change because of how important it is for certain people with these issues. Medicine is a way to relieve pain, so can’t this be the last result of pain release?

Astrology studies the position and movement of stars and how they relate to us humans. A person's zodiac sign can be determined by where the sun was at the time of their birth. Each zodiac sign has its own personality traits and its own unique horoscope. Many people think that is silly and choose not to believe in the foolishness they hear. What do balls of gas in the sky have to do with us? How is one's personality defined by connecting the dots? The sun can not define who I am. These are logical and common reactions from a nonbeliever. However, others will swear by it. Astrology can be traced back as far as ancient Greece, potentially even further. Still, thousands of people continue to study it today; even more people read their horoscopes every day. Some base their whole lives around it. It is a delicate but deeply fascinating pseudoscience that so easily attracts any curious mind because it tells people about the one thing they love the most: themselves.

What comes to mind when you hear the term Serial Killer? Possibly a scary-eyed monster that creeps in the night for its prey. No. Serial Killers are people; they look, breathe, and eat just like everyone else. Sometimes the media forgets who these people are, leaving murderers to be deemed “attractive,” “hot,” “sexy,” by impressionable audiences. Understanding the in’s and out’s of why someone decided to commit murder, or how that individual evaded capture for so long, honestly, is intriguing. The media releases these documentaries, movies, and television series on true crime because it’s compelling to understand what we cannot comprehend. It’s when killers are unjustifiably glamorized that it is harmful. When we are constantly reminded of supposed charisma and good looks, and these people become “celebrities,” they become separated from their crimes and romanticized.

How does healthcare inequalities affect minorities and elderly people in the United States? The Healthcare system in the United states has many inequalities due to socioeconomic differences, race/ethnicity, class status. The United States is the only country who relies on private health insurance. Minorities and elderly people mostly face the challenges of healthcare inequality and disparities due to low income and unaffordable health insurance. The healthcare system is created for wealthy people with higher income to receive better medical treatment forcing minorities and elderly people to become ill, and into debt or bankruptcy due to high medical bills. Two helpful sources to health insurance were Obama care also known as Affordable care act, and Medicaid through federal government and state you reside in.
