I watched Andy Warhol eating a hamburger and it reminds me of the artists of the Flemish Still Life school in that he depicts life and food of the era. The video is about the impact of Fast Food on contemporary life, its about how art can be film and how art can be about everyday ordinary things and it can upset people by refusing to give answers.I think it is good because Warhol holds up a mirror to contemporary life and forces us as the audience to watch what is happening in the world. Its postmodern because Warhol uses new media and because he allows the audience to determine the meaning and because we are left wondering can this really be art?

I watched Andy Warhol & Edie Sedgwick Interview on The Merv Griffin Show. This video is about an interview on his latest artwork "Campbell's Soup Cans". Andy doesn't seem to at all communicate well when being interviewed because he avoids answers to his artwork.
This interview is entertaining and captures the identity Andy wants to display.
It was said that his prints highlights the culture instead of just an advertisement like every other artwork at the time (commercial art period).

The video I watched was Warhol and a group of people. He was really making a joke out of both the interviewers and himself.
What is it about?
The video is about Warhol in London and the press asking him about his works.
Is it good or bad?
I found the video a bit funny for he was giving short stupid answers, not what the press wanted.

Andy Warhol was interviewed and was very closed about answering the questions he was being asked.

It was about his work and how he accomplished what he did. This video is interesting, because he is very different to most artists. He talks about his work, but reveals nothing.

What is Andy Warhol’s work about?

The work Andy Warhol produces is part of his own movement that he is attempting to create. He tries to break the generic definition of art with his unusual, unpredictable style that influenced a lot of change in the artistic world.

How good is it?

It depends, it is in the eyes of the beholders. Andy Warhol’s art is very strange, which Taj and I think is interesting. At the time his artwork was frowned upon because no one really knew why and people thought it was too much change from what they were used to.

How is it post modern?

Silk screen printing was not a very common artistic style back in the 1960s-70s. It was different and original as all the other artworks were life-like paintings of what the eye can already see. The definition of post modern is what is coming later, and that is definitely what his works are, so therefore his artwork could be considered post-modern.

He is accentuating how eating is no longer something that people do together and isn't home made anymore you can get in out of bag.

How good is it?
This video isn't good because it is almost too simple but it is definitely interesting I think if it is meant to fulfil the purpose of making you inquire and think about the work. then is it a good work.

How is it post modern?
This is definitely post modern because it incorporates modern food and modern themes of take away and burgers

Andy Warhol was a very controversial artist who was monumental in the Post Modern era. He quickly became famous, despite being rather unpopular with the public, for his controversial pieces and his raw artworks that had many different interpretations and perceived meanings.
I watched him eat a hamburger.
What is it about?
It is a satire of traditional art, as it humiliates artists who still paint ancient artworks.
How good is it?
I found that I did not like the video as it was boring, lacking in technique and the message appeared too "airy fairy" as there was no certain theme, concept or message.

Allan D'Arcangelo
Allan D'Arcangelo is a very unique pop art artist. He uses solid colours with very clear lines. The artwork is kind of an illusion, though it has no shadows. You could classify this as pop art as it is very modern but does not display pop culture. This is a variation of pop art and is one of the most individual styles there are at the moment.
