The Advanced Spine Health Center Urbandale Health Care Center was chosen as IMG's Facility of the Year. Among other IMG facilities, Urbandale was selected as the best. The facility was presented with a plaque and a  bonus to use toward a holiday party for its residents. The award-winning facility was nominated by Mark Walker, a Regional Director of Operations for IMG. The IMG President, Mark Ide, selected the Urbandale Health Care Center as a best practice because of its commitment to the IMG philosophy.

The Urbandale Health Care Center has beds. Residents at this facility receive full medical care and rehabilitation care. Rehabilitation treatments may include short-wave diathermy, electrical stimulation, and soft tissue mobilization. Group activities are also available. Residents can join movie nights or live music therapy. Some facilities also provide access to magazines. Special diets are also part of the treatment plan. You may also wish to visit a physician's office on site.

The Urbandale Health Care Center's vaccination rates are incredibly high and  of residents are fully immunized. These high rates far outweigh the national average. However, these numbers may not be accurate, as the outbreak in this facility was not caused by a shortage of the vaccine. While the state's LTC dashboard shows that the facility has confirmed nine cases of COVID, their emails tell a different story.
