The TEA has plans to help individual students achieve their academic goals, just as my selected teacher stated in her response. When I become a teacher, I believe it will be very important to make sure that I meet the needs of each student to ensure that they are receiving the best education. The TEA's plan for better outcomes after grade school has impacted our school a lot. Their goals are to help us prepare our kids for college, give them a sense of foundation, and get them academically involved. I think it is a very effective way to get your students involved by each teacher having a college picked out for their classroom. Not only does it open up different colleges for them to look into it, but it also reassures the students that college is an option for them.
