- An establishing shot contains a large amount of landscape(background).
- also known as an 'extreme long shot'
- it is usually shown as the beginning scene which may show the general location.
- It will give the audience an idea of where the story will take place.
Long shot:
- Shows a complete view of the characters body from head to toe.
- Viewers are able to see the characters and the costumes
- Can show one or more characters in a scene and help to show the relationship between them.
Medium Shot:
- Shows the character from the waist up
-Viewers can see the characters faces more clearly 
- This is also known as  a 'Social Shot' which shows the interaction with other characters.
Close-up Shot:
- Contains one or two characters faces
- This allows the viewers to understand the actors emotions and also allows them to feel empathy for the character.
- This is also known as a 'Personal Shot'
Extreme Close-up Shot:
- Shows one part of a characters face or other object.
- This technique can create an intense mood or show emotion effectively.
- This provides interaction between the viewer and audience
Point-Of-View Shot
-Shot from the characters perspective
- Allows the audience to se what is going through the characters eyes.
- Effective way of telling a story from the characters point of view
Over the shoulder shot:
- Is a shot of someone or something taken from the perspective or camera angle from the shoulder of another person.
