Une multitude d’animaux peuple le Kruger. Nous avons même eu la chance de voir tous les bébés de toutes les espèces y compris des guépards qui sont les plus rares. Les léopards dans les arbres sont majestueux. Les lions royaux : une scène impressionnante avec une belle famille de lions sur le rocher de Lower Sabie. Mémorable. En revanche, en septembre 2019, il y avait très peu de végétation, terre très sèche et arbres saccagés. Mais voir les animaux dans leur environnement reste une aventure magique et le Kruger est une belle expérience !"

Au cours des trois dernières décennies, les nomades massaïs ont perdu une large part de leurs pâturages au profit de projets de conservation dans tout l’est de l’Afrique. En fait, “au début, les conservateurs de la nature, c’était nous”, a ajouté Martin Saning’o. Dans le silence qui a suivi, il a calmement expliqué la façon traditionnelle dont les éleveurs de bétail, bergers et nomades, ont toujours préservé leurs pâturages.
