I feel like this chapter made me realize just how little teachers really have to teach a subject in one day at school. There is so much time that students have wasted through minor things at school such as announcements, changing classes, attendance, passing out materials, talking, etc. that it is so hard for the teacher to manage the time they have. I feel a lot of the connection students have to their lessons and their school is up to them. It is up to them to focus and stay involved.
