         <title>American School for the Deaf | April 15, 1817</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This Supreme Court case overturned the decision made by Plessy v. Ferguson. This case fought for the desegregation of all public school systems in the US and separate but equal was unconstitutional. This case encouraged the formation of many advocacy groups to inform the public of the needs of special education programs.</div>]]></description>
