In this video these men claim that there is a presence of a poltergeist in the house. They go through the video footage while another man documents the whole thing. There is some electrical interference in one room. In the end of the video the whole kitchen in destroyed by said poltergeist. There is signs of many flaws in this video; to myself it seems like they are just acting and it’s all staged, for example they don’t have more than one camera set up in the kitchen so we weren’t able to see the actual footage of it happening. Some red flags that could represent this video would be proof of verbosity. I think that there is too much happening at once. Usually the poltergeist acts in smaller activities. There are lights flickering on and off, an orb that could have been edited in, and the destroyed kitchen seems like it would be too much at the moment.

In this article they explain a couple of cases in which people have experienced the presence of a poltergeist being. They also explain what kind of paranormal activities that is happening in each event and also some of the things that could explain the real reasoning on why this is happening. I think that a reason of belief that occurs on this website could be agenticity. There could be logical explanations why these things keep happening but people tend to atomically assign it to invisible things. For example, paper could be thrown around and people will instantly think it’s a poltergeist, however it could have simply been the wind.

This image shows a bunch of kitchen chairs that are stacked up. It’s supposedly caused by a poltergeist however there isn’t any proof that this was by said poltergeist. A big flaw in this image is that we don’t have any real evidence that this was a poltergeist activity. There could be a huge possibility that this was just someone stacking these chairs and saying that it was even when it wasn’t. A red flag that could connect to this image would be red herring. This piece of evidence is pretty irrelevant with no supporting proof.

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Goqn-oAyb9s/hqdefault.jpg

On this website it is listing off ways that you can tell if you have a poltergeist in your home. Some examples are when you find that objects are disappearing and reappearing later on or in different places, when the sounds of knocking and footsteps appear, and strange scents and odours appear. These don’t always mean that there is a poltergeist that is present. There can be a lot of logical explanations for these but in some rare cases these can be the acts of a poltergeist. I believe that this could be an example of the reason of belief the un explained. In most cases there isn’t a real explanation for the occurrences. If there is something that is levitating in the air, there isn’t a logical explanation therefore it would fit under un explained.

This video is exhibiting some very convincing evidence that there is a poltergeist present in this home. Some of the evidence that’s shown in this video are: electrical interference when the radio goes static, the door being opened and shut, and the animals are acting strange which is a really good example of having some sort of presence in the house. This can be related to the reason of belief agenticity. Since these activities indicate some form of poltergeist I believe that this is the best reason for belief to describe it because it’s an invisible being that we assign meaning to.

In this image, it seems that there are ghosts that decide to come out and wreak havoc in the empty office, opening filling cabinets and throwing papers from them and across the room a desk in an office. At one point the office door was shown opening in a video and was slammed shut by an invisible force. For a reason of belief, I think this image could connect with Agenticity. I think that people give meaning and or intention to this situation by an invisible being; that is able to open and slam a door, open file cabinets and able to throw papers around with such force. I think the motivation of this source is to show people and make them believe that this is true and is happing in some places and just wants other to be aware.

http://i1.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article7174043.ece/ALTERNATES/s228/GhostMAIN.jpg

In this video things on a side table seem to get thrown or dragged off in a row and there is a floating shadowed orb in front of the side table. This shadow then disappears and the closet door opens by itself, some more things get dragged off the table and the seems to be a voice in the background. For a red flag, I think this image could connect with red herring. I think this video was faked, it seems set up and everything that was knocked down was in a single file and went down one by one. If you look really closely you can see clear strings attached to the objects that had fallen off the table and are shined on from the table lamp. The dark shadow that appeared looks very edited and unnatural, and could have been put there to try and cover up the evidence of the stings. I think this video could have been made to get more views, the more views or likes you get on a YouTube video you could receive money from them, the tile of the video leads you to believe there is a real poltergeist sighting on video but to come across something that was set up by a person, “false advisement”.

In this image you can see objects that are flying through the air or getting thrown across the room. The chair looks like it is falling or being pushed over from an unseen force, and some object is falling off a shelf from a top cabinet. As you can see all these things are happening all around the same times and the invisible being seems to be very aggressive. For a reason of belief, I think this image could connect with agenticity. I think that people are trying to think how this is happening and assign meaning or intention of an invisible being that is able to use force and move or throw things around a room so violently, in this case that invisible being is poltergeists that is doing all these things. I think the motivation of this source is to show people and make them believe that this is true and is happing in some places and just wants other to be aware.

http://www.beamsinvestigations.org/c659a4d8f-1.jpg

In this article/website this explains what poltergeist is, it gives a brief history of poltergeist in the historical times, poltergeist around the world, staus (a place in Switzerland), fires, stone throwing and poltergeist in the 1900’s, so this site gives a lot of information on the subject. For a reason of belief, I think this site could connect with ideology. I think this website has many set of ideas on this side about poltergeist, it goes into great detail about poltergeist in historical time, around the world, in the 1900s and so on. It explains what poltergeist is, the definition of it, and it shares other people’s stories and their experience with poltergeist and how it affected them. The site talks about the history of poltergeist and how far back these issues happened. I think the motivation of this source is to better inform people about poltergeist, it lets people no what it really is and what accrues when experiencing it, that way say if someone has a poltergeist issue or occurrences, then maybe this site can help them better understand it, and what is going on, and how to go about it.
