- a,o and u are like "back vowels" and they are in the same word. --> talo+ssa = in a house

- ä, ö and y are "front vowels" and they are in the same word. --> sängy+ssä = in the bed

- There can be only back vowels or front vowels in the same word - not both!

- i and e are mid vowels which can be with all the vowels. That is actually quite basic situation:
--> keittiö+ssä = in the kitchen
--> suihku+ssa = in the shower
--> eteise+ssä = in the hallway

3. If the word ends with two vowels or with a consonant, the partitive ending is -ta:
