We are still a long way from understanding the complexities of the human brain well enough to replicate it in machines, but this is the ultimate goal of AI and what drives new development in the field.

The goal of Artificial Intelligence is to create technology that allows computers and machines to function intelligently, performing tasks such as making predictions or decisions, solving problems, holding conversations.
