I'm Maggie, originally from Scotland. I'm married with 3 adult children and my loving dog! I immigrated to New Zealand in 2008. I come from a family of 7 and have 4 siblings: 3 brothers and one sister. They all live in Scotland, so I travel back when I can to catch up with them. In my freetime, I love walking and catching up with friends.

My studies

I love studying and learning new things. I am currently studying a course in digital education, so I'm a student too. I will feel your pain around assessment time and your relief when it's over. I know I will be a life-long learner and have no doubt I'll always be a student.

My career

I hope to teach abroad again as I did that in my earlier teaching years. I really enjoy being an expat and living and working in a new country and culture. This would be my dream before I retire from teaching.

I'm Makayla, originally from Whangarei but moved to Auckland a year ago. I have two younger siblings; 9 years old and 8 years old. I enjoy sports, I currently play soccer for two women's teams. I also enjoy the beach and being outdoors.

My studies and career:

I am doing this course as a stepping stone to the career I want to get. I'm hoping to start a bachelor of education next year and get stuck into that. I love kids and can't wait to make a career out of it.

My name is Jake, I've been living in New Plymouth for most of my life and am aching to get out and stretch my wings. I come from a small family with only one older sister in nursing, a little one year old nephew and my lovely partner of 4 years.

Of my hobbies I enjoy cycling and playing D&D with friends the most.

My studies and career goals

I'm also using this cause as a stepping stone into further study. I have a keen interest in urban planning and design, specifically in friendlier, people first designs.

On a more creative path, I've also taken an interest in prop and set design for films. Which I'm hoping to take a few courses in person at Massey to get a feel for at the end of the year.

Im Arlo, I was born in South Africa but I moved to Auckland when I was 2 :). I live with my grandmother, my cat and my dog. In my free time I enjoy doing art and hanging out with my friends.

After highschool I took a break to work and save up and now I study full-time at the Albany campus. after foundation I wish to do media studies and/or business.

My career

Right now I work in retail, part time at Lovisa. After uni I wish to do something related to media studies

My name is Nikshay, Originally, I am from the beautiful islands of Fiji but moved to New Zealand when I was 2 months old. I have 2 older sisters. I enjoy going to the gym in my free time and also catching up with my friends.

I am studying this course to help me start a Bachelor of Business degree next year. I love learning new things and am hoping to learn heaps this semester.
