Despite the popular demands and the familiarity on Dropbox, I personally think Sync are better. Sync is a pretty new cloud storage that come in the market in 2011 instead of Dropbox in 2007. From the cost itself, we all can see that Sync have the lowest amount of cost for a personal used with storage up to 2TB compare to Dropbox which storage only up to 1TB. Besides that,  file recovery between these cloud storage show that Sync have an unlimited file recovery compare to Dropbox that only allows in between 30 Days. Between Sync and Dropbox, Sync have a starter plan of 5GB free storage instead of Dropbox with a 2GB free storage instead.  In term of security, it is pretty much cons for Dropbox since Dropbox have a pretty lack security that leads hacker enable to lure the users with confusing ads. For Sync however, it offers end-to-end encryption, private keys and hashed passwords; It can't be called the best but it is a better option in security.
