E-Cert is where we are responsible for our own clock hours and FCS proof once done.

Our clock hours belong to us and E-cert makes them portable and we don't have to rely on the district to get our information if we move to a different district. I like E-cert but I think there needs to be in person hands on training for the paras.

Currently eCert only tracks FCS once a para has completed the program. This falls heavily on the para to submit the form to eCert. It would be nice if they could track by FCS component/hours/etc. If not eCert, this is something PESB could do.

Workshops/Live support on navigating e-cert questions for paras would be huge!

During the pandemic we all had to print proof of module completion. (That is now done via either PLUS or pdEnroller) This was then cross referenced to the in person hours. Once the district was certain you did your entire 28 hours we were then sent a form saying we completed the FCS. We then up load it to E-cert.

Reminder that the clock hours need to be completed within the 5 years of the General Certificate so they don't wait too long and need to take additional courses because they run past the 5 year mark.

We need a way to track FCS hours by FCS: for example FSC01 requires 4 hours. People should be able to track those hours as they are completed.

Our district sends us the clock hour for as we finish a class and have completed the survey. We then sign it, copy it for our records, and send it back to our HR department. They enter it into Skyward so we can always see what classes we have taken. This is for clock hours and not FCS. FCS is a beast all its own. Spreadsheets to track all the modules and in person time.

Flexibility in tracking platforms that mold and adapt to a districts needs. Districts can adjust to different filters. Automatic syncing would also be appreciated.

pdEnroller and E-cert automatic uploading

pdEnroller puts everything into e-cert as General even after getting that certificate and working on Advanced Cert. You have to go in and manually add and then delete the pdEnroller one. That was a while ago. Maybe that have fixed that issue.
