Overall, Barbara Kruger was a feminist artist. She used incentive images, along with texts usually using bold expressions that contained criticism of many social issues, especially gender discrimination and misogyny, and the structure of culture. This shows us that she deals with the topics of feminism, classicalism, consumerism, individual autonomy/desires. Moreover, it makes us to think more deeply about and delve into these social problems.
