In year 10 drama,we are learning about naturalism . This included macbeth and othello. 


The storyline was about a man called Othello adm he lived a normal life . Had a wife called Desdomona who was accused of losing a sacred handkerchief. Othello then killed his wife . Macbeth is about a man who was crowned king and manipulated by his wife and killed those who were threats to overthrowing him as king . 


The type of theatre it is used for is naturalistic because the style was very unique and different.

Othello is very hot headed . Iago is a manipulative man who made his wife/girlfriend steal Desdomona’s handkerchief. Iago used something precious too get Othello to snap and kill Desdomona because he thought that Desdomona was cheating on him with Iago . The OthelloMacbeth play was about  a man called Othello who lived  a normal life . He also had a wife called Desdomona .One day , Othello trusted Desdomona with a handkerchief . Othello is angry at Desdomona for losing a sacred handkerchief that was passed down to him from his family . What Othello needs to realise is that Desdomona is innocent and that he was shouting and blaming her when Iago is the one that gets her friend to then take the handekerchief from her and give it to Iago. Iago's character is very manipulative and evil because he abused the trust that Iago was given from Othello to then do something behind his back .The play is very energetic with all the characters movement and speaking roles . The first play Othello , is played at a slow pace and is very jumpy with certain scenes . Macbeth is more of a fast pace play because there was a lot of action and murders that was very exciting but nerve racking .
