Romeo was determined to marry Juliet, so he goes to Friar and he agrees to marry the two. Hoping that the marriage would end the feud between the two family's.

Book review

The book Romeo and Juliet is a book that is all about relationships and love. So in my personal opinion it deserves a 2/5. This book was very hard to understand at points. Also this book was very lovey dovey and not a book I would read. The family relationships in this book were structured very akwardly and not fun to read about. For an example Juliet and her Father had a very tense and toxic relationship towards each other. In (Rom.3.5.160) Juliets Father says "Hang thee, young baggage! Disobedient wretch!". This was a very disgusting thing to read about.

Tybalt and Romeo Hateful Relationship

During the play Tybalt killed Mercutio. Later on in the play, Romeo has a feud with Tybalt because he killed Mercutio. In the end, Romeo ends up killing Tybalt in rage. This shows the power of relationship because Romeo kills Tybalt because of what he did to his relationship with Mercutio.

Romeo and Juliet's wedding invitation

During the book we can see that all Romeo and Juliet want is to be together. A wedding invitation shows their true relationship because of the lovey-dovey feeling they both have for each other. (Rom.2.2.33) "O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo". In this quote, Juliet shows how she is very dependent on being with Romeo.

Romeo's Mothers passing

In the play, Romeo's mother Lady Montague dies later on toward the end of the story because of a broken heart. Her son Romeo died before and she was so heartbroken she ended up passing away as well. This shows the Power of relationship because she had a close relationship with Romeo and when he died she couldn't live without him and she went with him.

The fact that mercutio said that they've talked about this with him about the last girl shows their true friendship. (Rom.1.4.23-24), "And to sink in it should you burden love-/Too great oppression for a tender thing". In this quote it also shows how they treat each other with joking around and being true friends.

Romeo Sends Postcard to Juliet

In this scene, Romeo is sending a postcard from Mentua to Juilet because he was banished from Verona. He was asking Juliet to come run away with him. This shows the power of a relationship because they both care about each other and Romeo is asking Juliet to be with him.

Love at First Sight

During the reading, in the very beginning, Romeo goes to a party at the Capulet's house. When he's at this party he sees Juliet for the first time and thinks she's the love of his life. In William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, Romeo says, "What lady's that, which doth enrich the hand of yonder knight?"(ROM1.5.38-40). This quote shows the power of love at first sight because he only sees her once and wants to know her.

The nurse acted like a real mother figure for Juliet. She is there for Juliet when she needs someone to talk to.

The Nurse told Juliet to get over Romeo by not trying to think about him.

(Rom.3.5.205-206)"O God! - O nurse how shall this be prevented?/My husband is on earth, my faith in Heaven". This shows that Juliet can go to the nurse for anything she wants to talk about. This shows power of relationships by showing how she is able to talk to her about anythin.

In this scenario Juliet's mom doesn't want Juliet to marry Romeo she wants Juliet to marry Paris. This shows the power of relationship because her mom says you don't speak to me like that this is showing the power Julets mom has over her.
