This is due to the Covid-19 pandemic where all their family members have to stay at home to Work-from-home or siblings that also have to attend HBL lessons together. Some families may have kids that are of a younger age which may disrupt them causing them to be unable to focus during HBL. However, I face challenges such as being unable to focus due to the many distractions at home, such as the use of electronic devices.

This is because some of the less wealthy households lack access to ways which may boost their learning such as tuition and learning device. They have to put in more efforts to try and “digest” what the teacher have taught them and alternative methods for learning. Some have to even take care of their family members while studying. 

This is different from me as I came from a small family and my sibling is much older than me so I can study without any distraction. This can disrupt students learning process due to them sharing devices with each other thus the student would have to use his or her phone to learn. Using phone can restrict a lot of things for example multitasking or you would not be able to see the words when the teacher is sharing screen as the screen is to small, this could also lead to having poor eyesight.

In my case, I was having trouble concentrating as much as I do in school physically as the lessons felt more engaging and interesting in school than it was during HBL. Also, it was also more distracting to attend online lessons at home as apps like Whatsapp could distract me.

With everyone being quarantined during the Circuit Breaker, the household ends up having too many people who are all doing their work at the same time, and not having enough rooms can be a problem. 

Personally, I did not get distracted as I have my own room to study in.
