In fact, I didn't have many opportunities to hear the word "appropriate technology", but I think it was a good chance to find out once again through this time. I was able to improve my understanding about the appropriate technology by looking for cases of using it called "socket soccer ball." And in the process, I learned that there are countless countries not only in Africa but also in the world that suffer from the lack of electricity.

Until I found a use case for this, I did not know how important and useful this technology was. However, looking at examples such as socket soccer balls or life straws, I realized that they are closely related to our lives, and they are of great help us. Also, It was impressive that the appropriate technology that started for such a convenient life, now goes directly to life.

I think this 'socket soccer ball' is very groundbreaking. It was a little surprising to use a soccer ball during the day for children who only play soccer very hard while the sun was up. Although I have heard ' Appropriate Technology ' about twice, I didn't know the concrete meaning of it. However, I learned it through this class. I thought that there are some poor environments around the world. And I thought that my country and other countries that are not in poor conditions don't need Appropriate Technology. But we need it which is for the better natural environment like a seed bomb ,too.

So l think the seed bomb is important. There are two reasons of this. First, As I said before, It makes the better conditions and also makes gardens in the city. The city of my country does not have many plants compared to the countryside. And there is some left unattended spaces. Second, It is used for someone's hobby. Because it is made easily and it's appearance is quite cute. Also, It is used like a play that throw it in the pot for the children. And it may be employed a unique business that is related to the seed bomb.

For these reasons, I thought the Appropriate Technology of the seed bomb is important and wanted to try them.
