Hi Ian, Happy Thanksgiving!! My family and I went to my aunt's house. My other uncle and aunt were also coming with their children (my cousins), but school was closed the day before, so I could help my aunt bake. We baked a pumpkin pie together, but since I don't like pumpkin pie, she baked Thanksgiving cookies or cupcakes for me instead. After baking the bread, I had to go home so I would have energy for the next day. The next day was Thanksgiving, and I was so excited! My parents and I went to my aunt's house, and as usual, all the men, including my dad, were watching the football game on TV. So I played with my cousin (she's a girl), my aunt, another aunt, and my grandma. We were all in the kitchen cooking—well, actually I didn't; I was afraid of burning the house down. My aunt and the women in her family were making turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, rolls, sweet potatoes, and a big plate of vegetable salad.Everyone except me finished their food. Because I'm a picky eater, I only ate a little bit of mashed potatoes, so my aunt had to cook me plain noodles. After dinner, we played games for a while and stayed a little longer before going home. In third grade, the most memorable thing for me was that my good friend transferred to another school. I remember that after she transferred to a different elementary school, she even sent me an email through Gmail. I felt really touched because she still remembered us.

I was truly very happy. In the end, I sent her a message too, but she never read it. I’ve always wondered whether she just didn’t read messages from other people, or if my message was never sent successfully.
