They say that the hurricane season won't end until Nov 30. Hurricane Harvey had rained about 19 trillion gallons of water. It also said that hurricane Harvey will cost the state about $180 billion. Hurricane Irma had wind up to 180 mph for about 37 hours and it also set a world record for most intense storm for such a duration.

People living there say it is just horrible because there is no power and its so hot out. People there wait a long time to get gas for generators and people are waiting in line to get generators for their homes. After the storm 99% of people hand no power and now about 76% of people have no power. Many small army utility  crews from texas are try to help many people get places to sleep and clean up the mess.

Its important because you could get the wrong information from just using one article. For instance one article about the hurricanes could of said that the hurricane only hit Florida and another article could of said it hit Florida and somewhere else. Another reason it is important is that one article could be by just reporters and another article could be by scientists that studied the hurricanes. one article could be what the reporters saw and the other article could be what the scientists know for a fact about the storms.
