  • He wanted people that disagreed with him to listen to him and try to explain what he believed  and wanted to get them on board with his plane.
  • He wanted India to have more freedom from Britain.
  • Gandhi also wanted to get ride of the caste system and wanted everyone to be treated as one.
  • He also wanted everyone to get along and live in India peacefully.

  • Gandhi was determined to make these hopes/wishes/goals all come true. One of his approaches too this was to make a 24 day journey to the Indian Ocean which is known as Gandhi's Salt March. Many people who agreed with gandhi showed there support by joining him on his journey.
  • Gandhi also went to one of the round tables and was questioned , he said he wanted everyone to be treated equally which is why he was against the caste system.
