So, today we focus on selecting a celebrity to be the face of our new lingerie line. What are your thoughts on that?
B: In my opinion, we should invite a famous model like Thanh Hang or Hoang Yen to attract more customers especially the models’ fans.
A: I see what you mean, but I think they are too familiar./ That’s great idea but I believe a new model like Cao Ngan or Huong Ly can bring in something fresh.
B: Sorry, I don’t think that would work. 
A new model to  bring in fresh feelings like Thanh Hang and Hoang Yen. At least, they have better looks for the job.
A: That’s great idea but why don’t we invite beauty queens like Huong Pham, Lan Khue or H’hen Nie who have perfect body shapes. They are also influential enough to promote the products.
B: Not a bad idea!

First, they have to obtain tech pack from buyer. In this step, merchandiser will work with 2 main department: costing and sampling. In costing department, they will analyze fabric consmumption from CAD, analyze cost of strims and fabric and obtain general sewing data from IED. After that, merchandiser will prepare a cost sheet from sample. In sampling department, they will develop sample as per the tech pack then develop proto sample. And then the cost sheet and sample sent to buyer for approval.
 
 

In approval department,  if the buyer agree with the cost sheet and sample, merchandiser will make a conformation of order. They will obtain PCD and details from production unit, source trims and fabric from concerned dept, book washing andn embroidery capacity if required and obtain GSD from IED. After all these steps, they will execution of order by entering details in ERP, prepare samples as per buyer requirements and forward the samples to buyer for approval again. If the buyer disagree with cost sheet sample, they have to reworking the cost sheet.
 
 

In second approval department, they will hold preproduction unit and received some comments from buyer should be incorporated and fit sample reworking. In the meeting with the production unit, they will excute bulk order, follow up with production departmemts and update the buyer. After that, they will submit required documents to documentation department, offer garments for final inspection then follow up on the payments for goods.
