I feel like insanity is more intense like they lash out for no reason they have no control over their mind while mental illness is slightly calmer they have somewhat a grasp of their mind it’s more into depression.

They’re both kinda the same cus both minds don’t have any control over their actions. Except with Mental illness you really don’t know what you’re doing and with Insanity you’re kinda aware over your actions.
