         <description><![CDATA[<div>learning to be depression-purpose-support learned helpfulness, classical conditioning. dogs associate shock with helplessness with depression. Medium sized dogs, showed how shocks affected depression. stop shocking by jumping out of the box. a lot didnt even bother to escape, waiting out the shocks.&nbsp;<br>not ethical/ethical: some say was ethical bc of the benefits. not ethical bc the animals were harmed and not debriefed.&nbsp;<br>- teen suffering from depression. feel like they have to control over it . if your tv is broken, after a while you'll stop trying to fix it / turn it on<br><br>-BANDURA&nbsp;<br>-bobo doll.<br>kids were showed violent acts- others were showed non violent acts. determine if violence is learned. adult model showed kids the actions. kids followed suit. gave kids reasons to be angry<br>3/4 hypothesis proven.&nbsp;<br>boys were more physically agressive than girls.<br>-ethical or not?: no debriefing of bad behavior. guidleins not met. helped predict future behaviors of kids around violence in boys and girls. if youre from a violent household , more likely to become violent. influenced media. </div>]]></description>
