  • Supporting/Facilitating a student organization
  • Start planning/creating a group for counseling when Traineeship begins or when Group Counseling course starts, leaves room to facilitate for 6-8 weeks before the year ends
  • Apprentice to a teacher (min. 1 hr/week for 10 weeks)
  • Academically support one student in your master-teacher's (individual with whom you’re apprenticing) class (min. 20 min/week for 8 weeks)
  • Collaborate with Community Based Resources- e.g. creating/editing SC website and adding in CBO links
  • Play a leadership role in developing a school project or in collaborating with school staff and community partners in identifying and organizing a student service. (this can be your research project done in Q&Q Methods course during Spring semester)

Inputting hours and your experiences could be tedious if not managed, make sure to create a plan that works for you to ensure you are staying on top of your hours. Some people made time at their internships, others made sure to do when they got home, or input it weekly.
