He thought that he would never make friends but he did make some very good friends. When he heard his friend Jack talking about him and saying he is really weird, Auggie felt sick and didn't want to come to school ever again. Soon he talked to Jack and learned that he was just lying and would never say anything like that again. Everybody at school made fun of her except for her best friends. Hazel, one of her best friends, told her that she was sick of having to stop having fun and make sure that Rachel is fine. Rachel got really mad and stopped talking to both of her best friends. Soon they resolved their conflict and realized that they were being very mean to Rachel. Rachel learned that she is going to have a baby brother and that she only has to wear her brace for another month, but she has to go back to check if she can take it off.A month later when she goes to get her brace taken off, she learns that they want her to wear the brace for another six months. When she started middle school, she kept trying to hide that she was struck by lightning but she had another weakness. Every year they have a performance called Rhythm and Views. When everyone was practicing their parts while at their classes, suddenly an outage occurred. They couldn't do much to fix it so they had to wait for a while for it to get fixed and they needed to raise a LOT of money.
