Individualism

Sometimes being individualist person helps me to be more responsible. As i age i became more sensitive about supporting myself financially, I’m not saying that you should stop depending on your parents. In some ways i just don’t like to depend on anyone else so if I wanted something I’ll make sure that i have my own money to spend without worrying someone especially my parents.

Collectivism

As a Collectivist person, my relationship with other people always matter. If we have goals as a group we need to consider and ask everyone’s opinion. I need to show my willingness to help, to listen, and value my relationship towards others so my particular need and wants won’t be important than the needs or interest of everyone else because we will work as a group.

I interpret myself as an individualist because I always believe that I should make my own decisions because when the time comes, I only have myself and sometimes I tend to keep all my doubts to myself and also because I have more responsibility in the future and I am an older daughter, so I need to make the best decisions regarding what I want because it will affect my own future. Also, when I was in junior and senior year, I always had my friends with me, so I was very overwhelmed, but now that I'm in college, I feel more lonely, and I believe it's time for me to learn more, especially during this pandemic.

I define myself as a collectivist because I tend to ask everyone's opinion regarding my decisions, especially my parents. In terms of my friends, I prefer to work in a group rather than alone because I believe it's beneficial to have some people with whom you can share your thoughts, understanding, and goals, and I believe that I feel good whenever I was working with a group of people because I feel lonely whenever I was alone.

Whenever I feel like every one is busy with their own lives, I would never disturb them. I tend to focus on myself, and to accomplish my task alone. I know to myself that I can accomplish things that I needed to do without the help of anyone. I always put in my mind that I have my life and they have their lives. They can't be with me anytime I want them, and this is why I learned to have my individualism self. When my friends and classmates ask for my help, it is fine with me, I will help them without hesitation, but when it comes to me and my study, I seldomly ask for help, I accomplish my task without asking anyone for help.

I enjoyed hanging out with my friends, I enjoy their company's. I love to help everyone. I sometimes wanted to be with them whenever there is a task we needed to accomplish, it feels like the task would be easier to finish when there is someone to help you out. 
Sometimes when I wanted to be enlightened with a particular things I tend to ask for advice from them and for their suggestions. When I turned Grade 11 I realized that I need people in my life in order to grow and to develop myself, in order to learn new things. I learned that being alone wouldn't be nice at all, when there is someone you can ask for support and help.

When I was a kid I use to sang that song without understanding the lyrics, but then as I grow older and I 've experience new things in my life, I just realized that, yes, it is true, no one live for their selves, for their own. We people need each other, we have responsibilities to each other, and we can not just neglect that thing.

I consider myself as an individualist. I am self-sufficient, and for me winning is everything. I enjoy being in competitive situations. I believe that whatever success or failure I experience is entirely due to my own actions. Because success is usually the result of my hard work and patience. I am collectivist. Family is the first group a person belongs to. I grew up in a large family. My family influenced my career choices in life. I like sharing thoughts and exchanging things with them. Decisions are based on what is best for the entire family. We support each other because it is essential.

I always express my gratitude to my family to show that I care about them. When I'm with them, I always pay attention. Part of building a strong family is being able to rely on others by supporting and helping them during their difficult times, because I believe this will bring my family closer together.

Based on my experience with individualism. I work by my own that's why i can support my needs and financial like buy a dress, food. I usually work on my own, so I can save money. I can't buy everything or Expensive things but at least financially or what i want to buy for myseky,my money will be spent. And also I've been experienced in my life especially this school year, I just started doing activities and homework by my own because my friends and I, will have a different course.
When it comes to collectivism, because everything i do i need mama's permission first, In doing activities i will ask my friends help me for doing the video or pictures activity. It also enjoyable to finish the task with friends. Because you can celebrate after that, Instead of Individualism yes I can do it by my self but after that it seems like you're not happy what i mean you cant get rid of stress because it's really different when you work with someone because you can learned something.

Being alone, sometimes, makes me feel at ease. I can do anything that will make me happy by just simply vibing to my favorite songs. I can finally decide for myself now. How blessed I am to meet strangers turned into a friendship that I will cherish forever. I consider my friends as my second family. They knew some of the secrets my family doesn't. Whenever we hang out, we prioritize the wants of the majority. Whenever I feel hurt or have a breakdown every night, I don't let anyone see or know that because I don't want them to worry about me. Being individualistic is not easy at all, but I have learned a lot and am learning to be independent. Yes, being independent. I can buy my things i want with my own because i work hard. I'm not depending on those people who have decisions about me because I have my own choices and my own decisions. I also have my own goals in my life without any permission from anyone. because I can do whatever I want, but I know my limitations. Day by day, especially on the days when I'm hurt badly, I see what my true worth is and it's okay to be alone, it's okay to not always have a person who is there for you. I love my circle of friends, and they know that friendship is really important to me. I love my different kinds of friends because we support each other, we support our own goals and help each others for the hard times because we believe "We help each other because we have a dream"
when they are with me. I am the type of person who is always willing to help, willing to listen to their hard times, and willing to protect them at all costs. Even if I know for myself that my decisions for that can destroy one things, but I don't care. But in terms of having to make decisions on important things, that i can have a hard time to think. I really ask for their advice or suggestions like "what can I do?" because their answers really help me to know what the right things are. In Grade 11 and My childhood friends made realized to that

"Even if someone leaves you, we are still with you no matter what."

That's why I always express my care for them, I always express love to them, and I always support them for what they do. Because I am so blessed to have them.

When it comes to my family and friends, I see or identify as a collectivist person. I'm the type of person who is able to socialize and interact with people from different walks of life. As a result, collectivism is created. If I make a decision about school, I always seek my parents' permission before going. They described me as a sociable person because when I'm with my friends, I always share my life experiences, I can express myself clearly, and if I have a problem, we end up hanging out to have some fun. Also, when I play volleyball, it's critical that we work together to support each other and prioritize our goals in order to have a successful team. We emphasize on the concept that the group is more essential than the individual for this.

When I make a decision in life without seeking approval from others and without hesitation or doubt, I consider myself to be an individualist. So, individualist comes into play when I complete a task independently even without confusion, and when I refuse to let others make decisions for me. If I want something, I have to work hard for it and get it on my own. Sometimes I like being alone to distract myself from the idea that I feel obligated to meet society's standards or to satisfy those around me. Some people never have the opportunity to live their dreams. I've had the experience of being free and making my own decisions on the spot without seeking the advice of others. I see myself as being an individualist person when I do a lot of things and I don't want other people to criticize my work. I identify myself as an individualist person, when it comes to my personal goals and achievements that I want to achieve. I often work on my own specially when it comes to tasks that I am confident that I could do alone and with ease. I also am much comfortable doing tasks alone, without relying to anyone because in that way I can focus more, and be more productive all by myself. I always care about these people's feelings and I could say that I will put their well being first if I were to make an action that would involves them. As a member of a devotional group about sharing the word of god before, it was a pleasant experience since we are a group of individuals who share a wealth of information and experiences about how powerful God is. and the general purpose of a devotional is to encourage people to join our group and also sharing spiritual growth. Not all spiritual journeys are the same, so different devotionals serve different purposes. This includes individual devotions, group devotions, or family devotions. we also welcome those people who wish to join us in sharing God's message, however, I, unfortunately, left my group to focus on my academics.

“Success doesn't come and find you, you have to go out and find it"-Kushandwizdom. If you wait for someone to find you and help you to succeed it gonna take a lifetime for that person to find you. So It's better to succeed individually than as part of a team, because you don't have to depend on anyone to get the work done and you don't have to share your credit. For me, it means you need to find your success in your own because no one will do it for you. You need to work for yourself, because you have your goals. Example is that you want to be a successful flight attendant. You have to get it by your own and do not depend on someone. You have to be hardworking because of your goals.

Every time I'm with my friends, I always tell myself that I am lucky to have them. They all knew me for what I am as well as my secrets are all safe with them. They are my second family. We have one circle of mind because we are open to each other. When we are going to date, we have to exchange ideas if where we gonna go, we sure that we are safe when we go to this place. I have a circle of friends from school, church, and my neighborhood, among other places. I enjoy spending time with them since I always feel happy when we're together. We were laughing until our stomachs hurt and we were out of breath the entire time. When I'm with them, they become my happiness. When we're together, we enjoy making jokes, taking pictures, dancing, and singing. I enjoy working with my groupmates, especially in school, because my brain is not broad enough to work and think things through on its own. I define my self as an individualist. For me being alone is not always a bad thing, it gives me time to learn about myself and I love to try new things and push myself out of my comfort zone.
