  • Gift giving preferences in general - I think this is helpful to know bc in our consumer world, I want to know that the gift i am giving is worthwhile. This is a remnant of working in the waste reduction industry for 8 years. I saw how much stuff is thrown away and it has a huge environmental impact. So I'm very pragmatic when it comes to gifts. Lifetime warranties are the shit. I like the things to be hand made, good quality, and/or be made to last with as little plastic as possible in them. Honestly, I'll take a personal card with a doodle on it over a plastic thing any day!
